Club Meeting - July 10, 2004, 10:30am

In attendance: Larry, Brant, Nick, Bill, BJ, Erik Hanson, Don, Tim, Robert
O., Jason Coffey, Nolan, Larry's daughter, Heather O., BJ's
daughters

1. Call to order and establishment of Quorum

a. Meeting was called to order outside of Pizza Hutt before
10:30 with quorum.

2. Set next meeting date and time.

a. Unless another location is found that opens earlier, the next meeting
will be at the same Pizza Hutt on Sahara and Richfield on Saturday August 14
at 10:30 AM.

3. Chairman/Secretary - Larry

a. From this point forward the board will vote on all club events so the
event planner has the full backing of the club and so there will not be any
more overlapping events, and also so they will appear on the official club
calendar. Event planners need to bring their events before the board for a
vote.

i. Nick restated the bylaws in regards to board
members voting on events.

c. The term length for officer positions has changed to a year with game
sponsors providing 3 events per term.

d. Clarified at some point the purpose of the members only Yahoo board.

4. Treasurer/Morale Officer - Nick

a. Currently the club has $417.98 in its coffers, but that does not include
the money to be spent on the club banner with the LVGC logo & Elvis.

b. Bill, Nick, and Robert Scheel have outstanding dues.

c. Nick needs Games Day expenses from Larry.

d. As of July 21st, member dues are only $20 until the end of
the year.

e. Has anyone seen or heard from Jason Darbe? A shirt is
reserved for him.

f. Terrain at Kool's Kollectibles is taking a beating. A terrain inventory
is necessary and needs to be done this month.

5. BJ

a. On August 21 at Kool Kollectibles at 11:00 AM there will be a club 2000
pt. Storm of Chaos fantasy event. Players can use proxies and unpainted
figures. There will be prizes, including one for best attacking force and
best defending force. The plan is to get 2 rounds in.

b. October 2 is the Golden Snotling 4 Tournament at Griffith United
Methodist Church. BJ will be casting the Golden Snotling [trophy?].

c. Karl's Kool Kollectibles will not be increasing prices on GW stock and
arrangements are being made/have been made for at least a 10% discount for
club members [on GW stock?]. Additionally if club members want to do a bulk
special order together Karl is offering at least 15% off the bulk order.

d. BJ is organizing a Blood Bowl league for the late fall with possible
exhibition games this summer.

6. Bill

a. Warmachine Tournament September 11 at Dark Tower whenever it opens. 600
points, undetermined entry fee. Full prize support.

b. 40k Mega Event for this fall, possibly October 16 or November, more
details to be arranged.

7. Grace (phoned in)

a. Needs May Madness stuff including disc with pictures and
write-ups

b. Re-iterated scheduling conflicts. The club needs to coordinate club
events with all of the retailers so we don't overlap and draw people away
from other scheduled events.

c. At 9:00 July 24 there will be a Battle Fleet Gothic tournament at
Griffith United Methodist Church.

8. Erik

a. Expressed concerns over the same issue that Larry and Grace brought up.
Events need to be coordinated and we should also take into account any
activities that any other local clubs might be organizing.

b. The Fantasy RTT at Dark Tower has been rescheduled from August 21 to
August 28.

c. There is also a RTT at/in Cliff Castle on August 28, but only a few club
members planning on going.

d. The LA GT is September 24-26 in LA, obviously.

e. Erik will be speaking to his parents who do T-shirt screening to find out
prices for 2005 T-shirt.

9. Junior Club Members

a. Club membership is offered to Jason Coffey's Boy Scouts (as well as other
younger gamers presumably) for $5 with no T-shirt.

10. Games Day 2004

a. Club needs to decide on rules. Does anyone have a copy of Chariot Wars or
Circus Maximus? Additionally mock up plans need to come together.
