IRON MAN XIII November 3rd, 2007
Awesome tourney everyone ... that is probably the best field we've ever had per capita. Almost (of course the Gnome would be the one without painted stuff) everyone had a fully painted force, and we had some really elite, solid players.
Everyone ranted and raved (in a good way) about the scenarios ... and we proved a four round tourney is a piece of cake in the same amount of time a 3 round tourney is ... so long as your organized and you crack the whip between rounds. The players made it possible by staying focused and stopping when told, etc.
Scott and I had a blast running the event ... and thus ... March 29th (if Robert's mom approves the date ... we should know in the next week or two) we should be good to go for a FIVE round event!!
ATOMICON 2008!!
Thank you to all who attended ... I enjoy spending an entire day running events if those of you who treked out are going to have fun and actually enjoy the event. It was clear that this was one of our better events and again that is more because of the attitude of the players than anything ... I'm really looking forward to the next one Scott and I will come up with even better, more interesting and enjoyable scenarios, a more refined appearance scoring system and more interesting (yet tourney uniform and appropriate) terrain.
Again thank each and every one of you who made it!!!
Congratulations to:
