of the clubs founding members, Nick
wears many hats and goes by many
names. He is currently the club
treasurer and morale officer...but
we like to refer to him as the Treasurer/Minister
of Finance/Embezzlement/Lack of
Morals Officer and Benevolent Dictator
- Nick [Aka Soddarn Hinsane the
Liberator of the Peoples of Baramar].
Take a look at the pictures of Nick's
Baramian Imperial Guard army and
you'll have a clue as to where he
got that name.
While best known for
his 40k Baramian Army (led by the
likes of Soddarn Hinsane and Osama
Bin Loader), Nick also has a deadly
Dark Eldar Wych Cult which pays
tribute to Las Vegas Showgirls and
Strip Clubs and is led by the charismatic
Welvis (complete with sideburns
, polyester jumpsuit and cape).
This army is akin to Biel-Tan on
speed....very fast and very deadly.
In addition we often
turn to Nick when we need to borrow
ringer armies for club events as
he has several fully painted forces
from various races and factions.
A favorite past time is the occasional
"Closet of Doom" sale
the Nick holds when he needs to
make room in the closet for new
stuff. In addition, Nick runs Epicast.com,
maker of fine quality resin bases
and terrain. He provides the club
with tropy's and terrain for club
events and offers dues paid club
members a discount on his Epicast
products. You may have seen some
of the custom floor grids Nick provided
for our club Space Hulk 3D table
at Games Day LA.
